1. Give one difference between a Form and a Report

Ans : A Form is an object of a database with an user friendly interface used to
enter data into table in a database.
whereas a Report is an object of a database used to display retrieved data from
table or query in a database in an attractive and customized manner.

2. What is a field control with respect to forms ?

Ans : A field control with respect to Forms refers to the mechanisms or tools used
to interact with individual data fields within a form. These controls provide a
user-friendly way to view, input, or modify data in the database through the form
interface.

3. Which tool on the Forms Record toolbar is used to insert text on the form ?

Ans : Text box.

4. Name the two ways to create a form in LibreOffice Base.

Ans : i. Using Wizard
ii. Using Design View.

5. What is the difference between a static and a dynamic report ?

Ans : i. In a Dynamic report as the field values in the base table or query changes,
the Report will change automatically.
whereas In a Static report as the field values in the base table or query changes,
the Report will not change

ii. Dynamic report is the default type of report whereas Static report is not the
default type of report.

6. Write the function of Forms Controls toolbar and Records toolbar .

Ans : Forms Control toolbar contains various controls that can be added to the
form.
Records toolbar contains the navigation control buttons. Using these buttons we
can move from one record to another.
